John D. Calamia, Master Electrician
In December 2007, I left the electrical trade after 7 years to pursue my dream job as a career firefighter with the Upper Darby Fire Department, where I currently serve as a Captain. Along with working as a firefighter, I always dreamed of owning my own electrical business as my father and uncle did with their shop in Norristown. With the love and support of my wife, Nicole, and my children (Brianna, John and Bella), I am finally able to fulfill that dream.
I pride myself on my training and experience as an electrician through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. I bring that same pride, along with my knowledge of over 20 years of electrical experience to my customers. I pride myself on being “your electrician”. Being a married father and homeowner I understand the stress that comes with finding contractors you can trust and rely on. From an early age, customer service and a strong work ethic were instilled in me by my father and uncle, as I worked in all facets of the family business, an automotive electrical motor shop.
From customer interaction, to working with the tools, I believe that every job is an opportunity to serve the customer and reaffirm their faith in my work. Being a one man business, I am who you get when you call and I’ll be the one to show up. Everytime. All the time. Every customer is given the same personal attention no matter the size of the job.
I look forward to providing you, your family or your business with all of your electrical needs.
